Finally the big day came. Even after purging/tossing/donating/gifting an *incredible* amount of stuff, we still had what seemed like an astonishing amount of boxes/stuff to put into storage. After we moved everything out of our apartment except for the stuff going onto Elara, we took stock again – there was *still* a huge amount of stuff. Obviously we’re going to have to work harder to pare our lifestyle down. For the time being though I think we can get everything stowed (fingers crossed). A huge thank-you to Vicky’s parents for helping us haul stuff, and letting us borrow the car (not to mention giving us space to store all our stuff!)
Only a few more boat projects to do, and we are ready to cast off!
